Kansas Solar. Hammeke
Installed

Microinverter-based solar systems designed and installed by the electricians Kansas trusts for security, generators, and electrical — backed by decades of Kansas experience.
HOW IT WORKS

Every Panel Pulls Its Own Weight

Most solar systems wire all panels together, so if one panel gets shaded by a tree or picks up dust, the whole array slows down. We install microinverter systems instead — each panel runs on its own, so one bad panel doesn’t drag the rest down.

Your system stays tied to the grid, which keeps the cost down and eliminates the need for batteries. You get credit for whatever extra power you send back, and you can check what your system’s producing right from your phone.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

The Real Numbers on Kansas Solar

30%
Commercial Federal Tax Credit

If your business owns the system, you can still claim a 30% federal credit through 2027. The old 30% credit for homeowners ended on December 31, 2025. Ask us what still applies to your project.

10yr
Kansas Property Tax Exemption

Kansas won’t tax the added value your solar system brings to your property for a full decade after installation.

230+
Sunny Days a Year

Kansas averages well above the national average in annual sunshine.

Net Metering
Available Through Many KS Utilities

Send extra power back to the grid and get credit for it. Terms depend on your utility — we check yours before we design anything.

FAQ

Kansas Solar Questions

Does solar actually work well in Kansas?

Kansas gets plenty of sun and a lot of flat, open land – both help. The state hasn’t caught up to others on actual solar adoption yet, which mostly just means less competition for you. We design around your actual property, not a generic assumption.

What's net metering, and do we have it here?

It’s the credit you get when your system sends power back to the grid instead of using it yourself. Most Kansas utilities have to offer it for systems up to 25 kW, but the specifics depend on your provider. We check yours before finalizing your design.

Is the federal tax credit still a thing?

For homeowners, no, that 30% credit ended for anything installed after December 31, 2025. If your business owns the system, the 30% commercial credit remains in effect through 2027. Ask us what applies before assuming either way, and check with your tax advisor too.

What kind of experience does your team actually have?

Our electricians are state-licensed and have worked across security, generators, and electrical for years before we ever installed a panel. Same team, same standards.

Can solar cover my whole house or building?

Usually, if it’s sized right. We look at your actual usage first. Want backup power for outages specifically? Ask us, it’s not something every system includes.
